Scotland-headquartered UK law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn will once again serve as headline sponsor of the All-Energy exhibition and conference, marking its twelfth year in that role. Now celebrating its 25th anniversary, the event remains a key gathering point for the low-carbon and renewable energy community. Last year’s edition drew more than 13,000 attendees to Glasgow’s SEC, and even higher numbers are expected when the event returns on 13 and 14 May this year.
Shepherd and Wedderburn has been active in the Clean Energy sector for more than 35 years, advising on projects spanning the full range of clean energy technologies across the UK. Its Clean Energy team, regarded as market-leading, comprises over 125 lawyers drawn from a range of legal disciplines and is led by partner Clare Foster.
Foster reflected on how significantly the UK market has evolved since the first All-Energy event in 2001, pointing to the sector’s growth, innovation and resilience over that time. She said the event continues to push the industry to do more and do better, an ambition she sees as closely aligned with the values of her team and the firm, adding that she was proud of the firm’s long-standing role as headline sponsor of the UK’s largest renewable and low-carbon exhibition and conference.
Anam Khan, Event Manager for All-Energy at RX, said the organisers were proud to have Shepherd and Wedderburn continue as Headline Sponsor for a twelfth consecutive year, crediting the firm’s sustained support as instrumental to the event’s growth and success over more than a decade. Khan added that this year’s partnership had been further strengthened by Clare Foster’s appointment to the Executive Committee, bringing additional insight, leadership and industry expertise, and said the firm’s continued involvement reflects a shared commitment to collaboration, innovation and the future of the industry.
As in previous years, this year’s strategic summit will feature a strong line-up of speakers, panellists and exhibitors. Several members of Shepherd and Wedderburn’s Clean Energy team will attend to deliver legal and commercial updates, connect with clients and contacts, and share their expertise with the wider industry.
