Technology Scotland has opened submissions for its 2026 awards, which return for a second year as part of the organisation’s Annual Dinner.
The dinner takes place on Thursday 12 November at the Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow. Tickets are already on sale.
The awards set out to recognise work across the critical and enabling technologies sector, covering both the organisations and the individuals behind innovation, international growth and joint projects in Scotland.
The six categories
Two of them are running for the first time this year.
Excellence in Innovation goes to an organisation that can demonstrate it has developed a genuinely innovative, world-leading technology or product.
International Reach recognises the organisation that has made the biggest impact internationally.
Collaboration is for a consortium of Scottish organisations able to show what local partnership delivered on a significant project or product in the enabling technologies sector.
Rising Star is an individual award for someone aged 30 or under who has made a real difference within their organisation over the past year.
Talent Development, new this year, goes to an organisation with a strong record on building skills, bringing people through and giving them room to develop.
Outstanding Leadership in Technology, also new, recognises an individual whose leadership has driven innovation and produced results for their organisation.
Who can enter and by when
Entry is open to any individual or organisation working in the enabling technology sector in Scotland. Further detail sits on the awards page.
Submissions close at 17:00 BST on Friday 4 September. Entries go in through this form.
About the dinner
The Annual Dinner is the biggest date in the Technology Scotland calendar, drawing around 250 people from across the critical and enabling technologies sector, including members of all three of its networks. The evening is built around networking and the awards themselves, with time to catch up with people across the sector and mark what teams have delivered over the year.
