Cécile George reflects on her journey, highlighting the search for meaning that led her away from corporate life. “I have always been interested in improving the world and society. For a long time, I wasn’t sure how to do it. I tried fair trade, social entrepreneurship, being a therapist, etc., and climbing the corporate ladder to have an impact from the ‘top.’ None of these things seemed to have the impact I was looking for,” she explains.
This search led her to ancient mystery teachings, which she found profoundly impactful in her personal growth. “They teach us to truly shift our thoughts,” George emphasises. Words and thoughts are very important because, according to the ancient teachings of most traditions, we create our reality through them. We ultimately create our collective reality with our thoughts. But do we know how to wield that power? This is what the mystery schools of old are teaching—how to master that.”
The journey to INCENTRE involved extensive travel and training with masters worldwide, including Egypt, Peru, China, Bali, and India. Her encounter with the Modern Mystery School resonated deeply with her, offering teachings that filled many gaps in their understanding.
“The school went much deeper with its teachings than other teachers we had met before,” George notes. “Everything we had found that worked up to that point was contained in the teachings, but we also saw the school’s teachings went much deeper and filled many missing links.” This realisation pushed them to dedicate themselves to sharing these teachings, creating a space where others could explore similar paths.
Balancing Practicality and Spirituality
Cécile George’s experience with various spiritual practices has shaped her method of running INCENTRE. “I had to master and understand many things within myself to learn the various spiritual practices that I offer, which has helped me get better at running a business,” she explains. “Ultimately, success has a lot to do with how we manage three things: Vitality, Time, and Thought. If we master these, flow comes easily.”
This mastery creates a harmonious balance between the practical aspects of entrepreneurship and the spiritual elements of her work. “I don’t see these as separate at all. We can’t accomplish anything in the physical without mastering practicalities. So one is the form, the other is the flow. In a true lineage, you will always learn how to develop yourself in both,” George emphasises.
Her training in Hermetic Universal Kabbalah has powered this integration, providing a framework to organise her mind and clear the way to express her highest self. “It is a very ancient recipe for success and physical manifestation that predates organised religion,” she notes.
